Stalingrad, Russia 26, September 1942

The Germans were tasked with driving the Soviets out of the three largest buildings in a sector of Stalingrad.    The German force had the initiative from the start and drove the sovies back quickly moved though the abandoned factory to the west,  as well as gaining control of two large building to the east.     The sight of the German flamethrower dispirited the Russians and many died without ever firing a shot.    Evey Russian troop was dead by the time the sociiet shock troops arrived, though they briefly took back one of the building in the west they due were destroyed and the Germans had a complete victory.

 Stalingrad, Russia 26, September 1942

The Germans were tasked with driving the Soviets out of the three largest buildings in a sector of Stalingrad.    Half of the German force quickly moved though the abandoned factory to the west as the Soviets fell back.  Once that large building to the east was cleared the enginers and heavy machine gun moved to the east to support the remaining German force.   On the East side of the sector, it was a back and forth affair with heavy casualties on both sides.   The German flamethrower was ineffective and drew a lot of soviet fire and was eventually lost.  The German and Soviet shock troops arrived on the eastern side of the sector at the same time and due to superior German command and control and some bloody hand to hand fighting the Germans were able to destroy the soviet resistance.
